I am incredibly proud and excited to be joining the JET team. As Communications and Events Officer, my role is to help showcase all the amazing work that JET does to support young people facing adversity, through our events and social media. I cannot wait to help engage communities and celebrate the impact that the JET team has on the lives of so many people.
In 2023, I graduated in Human Geography from Coventry University. During my degree, I developed a greater understanding in the impacts of marginalisation, igniting my passion for social change and the promotion of equality and diversity. After graduating I took part in a volunteer scheme in Cape Town, supporting an understaffed school in the Capricorn Township. Spending time with such an inspirational group of teachers, children and other volunteers further fuelled my desire to keep developing my skills in a charity environment, having seen the difference charity makes to the lives of young people and the wider community. I’m excited to keep learning and making an impact with the JET team!
I am positive, personable, and hardworking. Most of all, I am incredibly excited to represent and promote JET’s values.
