I am delighted to have joined the JET team as Area Director Central. It is my job to enable, through strategic leadership the most effective use of our internal and external resources, ensuring the quality and sustainability of our work with young people across the UK continues. I am proud to lead a passionate and dedicated team who are already successfully delivering our programmes within Lincolnshire, Norfolk and the West Midlands.
Recognising the work of the Trust, I knew instinctively that it was something I wanted to be a part of. Through our shared core values and by harnessing my experience as a Commissioned Officer within the British Army and most recently the Charitable Sector in support of the Armed Forces Community, ours is a partnership I hope will deliver great results.
For as long as I can remember I have been driven both personally and professionally by the pride and sense of achievement that comes from helping others, and I have been struck by the positive impact our programmes have on young people. Witnessing first hand how their lives can be improved, confidence grown and self-belief nurtured, it’s truly exceptional and quite simply, seeing is believing.
The sense of dedication in this organisation is palpable, I’m excited to be a part of its future.
