Since joining the JET team in 2018 I’ve had the pleasure of working with and meeting some of the most inspiring and capable individuals and, as we have evolved and grown as an organisation, the strive for excellence and passion to make positive social impact for our students has remained a constant golden thread. I’m immensely proud to have been part of its history and am excited to be part of its future!
I started my career in the British Army and upon completion of the commissioning course at the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst I gained a commission into the Royal Corps of Signals. My transition into the third sector 10 years ago made sense to me in that I could continue to serve and create a meaningful difference to future generations, albeit in a different guise. Alongside, and in support of my work, I studied for a Degree in Business, Administration and Operations and currently have my head back in the books as I study BA (Hons) Politics, Philosophy and Economics.
My role at JET affords me the privilege of leading the programmes and impact team, and in doing so I’m responsible for ensuring that we are delivering the highest quality services, safely, consistently and impactfully, to the young people who need us the most. I am also responsible for ensuring our delivery model and partnerships are built sustainably and that we are responding appropriately to the external challenges facing our beneficiaries and key stakeholders. A growth mindset and willingness to adapt in pursuit of excellence is key to this role!
