Hi, I’m Ni. I joined JET in January 2025 as the Operations Manager. Originally from France, I’ve lived in the UK for over 10 years, and I am based in London.
I have spent most of my career working in operation management in the private sector within SMEs and having formally studied business administration, I hold an MBA. After 10 years in the private sector, I decided to pursue something more meaningful. A long-standing passion for psychology inspired me to shift and refocus my career, and in 2023, I embarked on an exciting journey to gain a conversion master’s in psychology at the University of Bristol. Having completed that milestone, I’ve taken the next step of this journey by studying a counselling and psychotherapy program, an area of psychology I am most interested in for its human components and its ongoing self-development and learning.
The knowledge I’ve gained through my studies in psychology and counselling is shaping my understanding of human behaviour, communication dynamics, and emotional intelligence. I am excited to integrate these skills into my role as Operations Manager to foster stronger team cohesion, address conflicts constructively, and create a collaborative and supportive work environment. This understanding also enables me to contribute to cultivating a positive workplace culture where individuals feel valued and supported. By applying principles from psychology, such as active listening and empathy, I aim to help shape people-centred initiatives that promote well-being and engagement across the organisation.
I’m thrilled to have joined such a vibrant team at JET, an organisation that plays a pivotal role in empowering young people from disadvantaged backgrounds. JET’s commitment to equity in ensuring that young person has the opportunity to succeed regardless of their circumstances is truly inspiring. JET not only transforms individual lives but also contributes to a more inclusive and equitable society. I am excited to support the team in delivering this impactful work and to contribute to the organisation’s ongoing mission to create meaningful change.
