Running events

Any distance, any way! Whether you want to take up a JET charity place in one of the UK’s biggest running events such as the Great North Run, Great South Run or London Marathon, or want to set your own personal running challenge, our fundraising team will support you every stride of the way.

We also have a dedicated fundraising platform, through which you can set up your own fundraising page, create a team hub, and safely and securely collect donations which will be sent directly to JET.

RUN FOR JET

JET Ride

Join us on the start line at RAF Cranwell for JET Ride, our fantastic annual cycling sportive through the quiet lanes and quaint villages of Lincolnshire. The rolling countryside makes the shorter distances ideal for those who are new to cycling, but our longest 100 mile route provides a tough but enjoyable challenge for more seasoned club riders.

With riders serenaded at the finish line by the world famous Battle of Britain Memorial Flight (weather permitting), JETRide has quickly become one of the Lincolnshire’s most popular mass-participation sporting events. Sign up, or find out more via the link below.

Challenge events

We work in partnership with Discover Adventure for the operation of our challenge events. Voted Best Small Escorted Adventure Company in 2016 and fully ATOL protected, Discover Adventure have over 20 years’ experience in operating adventure fundraising challenges worldwide. All you need to think about is the challenge that’s right for you, and whilst you are busy stepping out of your comfort zone, you will be raising funds to help JET students overcome barriers of their own.

Want to try something different and push yourself to the limit? Then skydiving whilst raising funds to support the Jon Egging Trust might just be the answer! We have teamed up with UK Skydive, one of the country’s largest tandem skydive operators, to bring you the opportunity to take part in a tandem skydive – a once-in-a-lifetime experience.

Fundraising in schools

Students enjoy nothing better than a non-uniform day or throwing wet sponges at their teachers in the stocks! There are endless ideas for fun and engaging school fundraising events, and we can support teachers to set up their own activities, or take part in wider national projects that can supplement the learning curriculum.

Shop and donate

Raise free funds for JET by shopping online using Give as you Live. Shop in over 5,500 leading online stores including Amazon, eBay, Tesco, John Lewis, Sainsbury’s, Just Eat and Booking.com, and for every purchase made via your Give as you Live login, JET will receive a donation as a “thank you”.
