Students from Barnes Wallice Academy have celebrated the end of their Inspirational Outreach programme with a presentation event at their school.
Following congratulations from their executive principle extending his support of the initiative, the youngsters took centre stage to demonstrate how far they had developed as a team and then applied those skills to solving a practical challenge.
In front of an audience including parents, Lord Blunkett, teachers, Head Teacher, Governors and the Rotary Club, the students ably completed the challenge and in their own words expressed how and why the programme has helped them develop. The youngsters explained the difference it has made to their confidence and a growing feeling that they can really excel at whatever they put their minds to.
The finale saw Flt Lt Pepper, one of the inspirational mentors on the programme, present the students with their well earned certificates and JET tops.
On behalf of all the JET Team I (Will Sears, Lincolnshire JETLO) would like to thank the school and students for all their hard work and congratulate them on their well deserved success. Thank you also to the audience for taking the time to support the students and share their success.
