Regional Fundraising Officer Sarah Dunning (right) receives cheque from Community Champion Jo Pexton
Regional Fundraising Officer, Sarah Dunning collected a cheque on behalf of JET for £912.28, which was raised during September – November 2017 through the Lincolnshire Co-Op Community Champions Scheme. A huge thank you goes to all customers and staff at the Tattershall Food store for raising such an incredible total.
It costs JET around £1000 to fund one young person to complete the three-year Blue Skies Programme – making a significant difference to their educational attainment and skills such as leadership, teamwork and resilience. This fantastic amount of money will enable us to support one young person in Lincolnshire to be the best they can be.
Community Champion, Jo Pexton said:
“JET is a charity that is very close to my heart as my son is part of the Blue Skies programme at Barnes Wallis Academy. He wouldn’t be the confident boy he is today if it wasn’t for the encouragement and dedication of this wonderful charity. I personally will be eternally grateful for the positive changes this has brought to my son’s life now, and his future.”
