Level 3 students prepare for work experience

Blue Skies Level 3 students from Priory Witham Academy were back at RAF Cranwell this month. With three months to go until their work experience placements they are starting a number of sessions to get them ready.

Whilst at RAF Cranwell for the day, the students had the opportunity to really pinpoint what makes a good employee through group discussions and activities. The group excelled at working together during the session and confidently presented their ideas back to the group (and many of our inspirational mentors).

The morning completed, the young people were confident in the expectations of the work place from what to wear, what to bring, how to act and where to look for help.

During the afternoon the Level 3 team had to put their communication skills to the test by leading and supporting each other through a series of challenges on the high ropes course. The students remained calm, logical and supportive throughout the session, a credit to the Blue Skies programme and what can be achieved following the completion of Levels 1 and 2. A great team.
